Risky recommendations

It is obviously gratifying as a vitamin A researcher to find vitamin A supplementation at the top of the priority list at Copenhagen Consensus. Vitamin A supplementation can in many cases prevent death and therefore deserves more attention. But vitamin A is not always a good thing. Especially not for small children.

Som A-vitaminforsker er det naturligvis glædeligt at finde A-vitamin-tilskud øverst på prioriteringslisten fra Copenhagen Consensus. A-vitamin-tilskud kan i mange tilfælde forebygge dødsfald og fortjener derfor større opmærksomhed. Men vitamin A er ikke altid godt. Særligt ikke til de mindste børn.
